Building on Bilbao Street

Building on Bilbao Street

direction of execution

2014

Poble Nou, Barcelona

660 m²

We have carried out the construction management of a multi-family building between party walls. This has a total of five homes, one per floor and a local on the ground floor with its corresponding upper floor in the attic.

This work was a challenge because it was a building stunned for years because of the real estate crisis of 2008. Therefore, the structure had to be audited in order to ensure its continuity.

Each of the houses consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a dining area, living room and kitchen. These are very practical apartments located in an area quite close to the sea in the city of Barcelona.

Pujadó – Soler was in charge of the construction management of this residential building project on Bilbao Street, located in Barcelona.

The Poblenou neighbourhood was once a working-class neighbourhood, but is now a trendy area with many new residential developments. The Poblenou neighborhood has housing for people of all income levels, from luxury apartments to affordable housing projects.

The building is a perfect example of quality of construction and design. The promoters used high-quality materials and construction techniques, and the final product is a beautiful and functional building. The residents of this building will enjoy for many years a comfortable life in a beautiful environment.

The building on Bilbao Street is a very sustainable development. The construction techniques and materials used are of high quality and environmentally friendly. The developers have made a great effort to create a building that is both beautiful and sustainable.

Sustainable aspects of the building:

1. The building has a high level of insulation, which helps conserve energy.

2. The windows are made of high-performance glass, which contributes to reducing energy consumption.

3. The building is equipped with a rainwater collection system, which recycles rainwater for use in the garden and landscape.

4. The building has a green roof, which helps regulate temperature and improve air quality.

5. The building is equipped with a solar system, which generates renewable energy from the sun.

6. The building is designed to receive maximum natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting.

7. Building materials are sustainable.

8. Heating and cooling systems are very efficient and use minimal energy.

Aspects of housing:

1. The building provides much-needed housing for local residents.

2. The building creates jobs for local workers during construction and afterwards in the maintenance and operation of the building.

3. The building helps to revitalize the Poblenou neighborhood and contributes to its economic development.

4. The building is designed for maximum energy efficiency, which reduces energy costs for residents.

5. The building provides a communal gathering space for residents to socialize and relax.

The building is integrated into the architectural landscape of Barcelona, with its traditional Catalan design. The builders used local materials and construction techniques, which helped create a building that is in harmony with its surroundings. This is because:

1. The building has a traditional Catalan design, which helps it to integrate into the architecture of the environment.

5. The building has a green roof, which helps regulate temperature and improve air quality.
